WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME, TRACTOR SUPPLY??
Our take
Why do you do this to me, Tractor Supply?? I waltz in and, BAM—peeps galore! Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, and Barred Rocks are just waiting to steal my heart. But here I am, stuck in an apartment, dreaming of that supervillain chair turn with a chicken in my lap. And don’t even get me started on those adorably tempting boots—too cute but way too pricey! It’s a cluck-tastic tease, and I’m feeling all the feels. GAHHHH!

| I walk in and hear...peeps. Lots of peeps. Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, and Barred Rock - three of my favourite breeds. All there. All ready and waiting. BUT I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT. All I want is to someday be able to do that supervillain chair turn thing, but with a chicken in my lap. But I live in an apartment and am NOWHERE NEAR being able to afford a home! GAHHHH. These boots are ADORABLE too, but they were too expensive. [link] [comments] |

- So incredibly dramaticGuys…..I’ve seen my chickens go into fight or flight mode over some pretty silly things…..A rabbit, a Walmart bag, bright colored clothing….This one might take the cake. I got my chickens one of those big treat blocks. Just a big square with different seeds and treats in it. I thought my flock would love that, especially since it’s been too cold to free range this week. I was so wrong. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been so wrong in my life 😂 The second those birds laid their eyes on that thing, they were screaming and fighting to get away from it. I gently placed it in the run, which caused 2 hens to somehow escape the run through the tiniest little spot that I honestly didn’t know existed. One hen straight up shoulder-checked the main door and escaped to the yard. The roosters were holding onto the hens for reassurance and safety. The ducks were speechless and frozen in fear. I also was speechless and frozen in fear because I’ve never seen my chickens react like that ever in my 6 years of chicken-tending. For a second I was afraid I had a grizzly bear following me or something, because what the hell was that ?! 😂😂😂 My poor babies! As I type this, I’m sitting in the run and gently petting the block of treats to reassure my chickens that it doesn’t bite. How did I get here? - Our chickens came knocking…Let me start off: chickens have a coop with small run and a big run. They are learning to go “ inside” The coop and not just the small coop run. We first wanted to have them free roam the entree back yard but ours kids were too much for them, hence the run Today its the 4th night and we didnt see the time so they were still in the night run instead of the actual night coop (theres a shelterd Place in there they looooove) Suddenly i hear chicken peckjng the Windows and see 4 out of 5 chickens in the backyard window. In laughing my ass off. One was a good girl in the night coop chilling and the other 5 were like.. snacks? They destroyed every plant in the garden ( expected) Luckily our garden is 100% safe of theres no kids lol. Started a small thunder storm shortly after so thats probably why. Heres one chicken knocking on the window… submitted by /u/reddead24f [link] [comments]
