Our chickens came knocking…

Our take

Our chickens came knocking, and let me tell you, it was a cluck-tastic sight! With a cozy coop featuring a small run and a larger play area, our feathered friends are learning to venture inside, but it’s been a hilarious journey. Initially, we dreamed of letting them roam the entire backyard, but our kids proved to be a bit too much for their delicate nerves. Fast forward to night four, and instead of cozying up in the night coop—where one good girl was enjoying her shelter—we spotted four adventurous chickens pecking at the window like they were begging for snacks! They even managed to turn our garden into a feathery disaster zone. Just another day in the whimsical world of chicken parenting!

Our chickens came knocking…

Let me start off: chickens have a coop with small run and a big run. They are learning to go “ inside” The coop and not just the small coop run. We first wanted to have them free roam the entree back yard but ours kids were too much for them, hence the run

Today its the 4th night and we didnt see the time so they were still in the night run instead of the actual night coop (theres a shelterd Place in there they looooove)

Suddenly i hear chicken peckjng the Windows and see 4 out of 5 chickens in the backyard window. In laughing my ass off. One was a good girl in the night coop chilling and the other 5 were like.. snacks?

They destroyed every plant in the garden ( expected) Luckily our garden is 100% safe of theres no kids lol.

Started a small thunder storm shortly after so thats probably why.

Heres one chicken knocking on the window…
