Late bloomer or something wrong?

Our take

Is your feathered friend a late bloomer or is something just a bit off? Meet the featured chick from our community—a delightful Easter egger mix born at the same time as its siblings, yet it stands out for all the quirky reasons. While this little one seems to be acting totally normal—eating, drinking, and playing with the rest of the crew—it’s sporting a rather scruffy look and hasn’t fully feathered out like its pals. No signs of bullying have been spotted, which leaves us all wondering: is this just a funky phase or a sign of something more? Let’s dive into this cluck-tastic conundrum and see what our community thinks about this wacky little one!

Late bloomer or something wrong?

The featured chick was born the same time as all the others in the pic. All Easter egger mix offspring, but this particular one is looking rough. Acting normal, eating, drinking, and playing fine as far as I can tell, but just hasn’t really feathered out and is looking wacky as heck. No signs of bullying that I have noticed.
