| | Hi everyone, My baby chick is eating and sleeping but sleeping a lot during the day and is quiet. She sleeps during the day too and doesn’t seem to want to forage. I don’t see anything visibly wrong with her. I don’t know exactly how old she is but I am going to guess 4 weeks. Should I be concerned that she is sleeping a lot? Is she also an Easter egger or an English hen? Does anyone know her breed or estimate age please? I did notice when she is standing her tail is droopy abit. Is that anything to worry about? I was worried that she just wasn’t getting as much food and water. She keeps trying to stand but falls forward. . I have her isolated and trying to feed her food and water, but it’s hard for her to lean forward to dip her beak and water. - Late bloomer or something wrong?The featured chick was born the same time as all the others in the pic. All Easter egger mix offspring, but this particular one is looking rough. Acting normal, eating, drinking, and playing fine as far as I can tell, but just hasn’t really feathered out and is looking wacky as heck.
