Got two chickens… turns out they’re both roosters - advice 🙏🏻

Our take

Got two chickens… turns out they’re both roosters! 😅 Hey, fellow chicken lovers! I’m in a bit of a feathered pickle and could really use your cluck-tastic advice. I was gifted what I thought was a rooster and a hen, but surprise! Both are roosters, and I’m not quite sure how to handle this situation. I’ve attached some photos—can anyone help me identify their breeds? I’m also concerned about whether they can cohabitate peacefully in the same coop. So far, they’ve been relatively chill, but I’ve read some mixed reviews on keeping two roosters together. To complicate things, we’re expecting 10 hens soon! Will that help balance the coop dynamics, or could it ruffle feathers? Your insights would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

**UPDATE IN COMMENT SECTION**

Hey everyone, I need a bit of help and figured this was the right place to ask.

I was gifted what I was told were a rooster and a hen, but it turns out… they’re actually both roosters 😅 I’m still pretty new to all of this, so I didn’t notice right away, but now it’s pretty obvious.

I’m attaching photos here could anyone help me figure out what breeds they might be? I’d really appreciate it.

Also, I’m a bit concerned about whether they can stay together in the same coop. So far they haven’t done anything too aggressive, but I’ve read mixed things online about keeping two roosters together.

On top of that, we’re expecting 10 hens to arrive soon, so I’m wondering if that will help balance things out or potentially make it worse between them.

Any advice or insight would really help me out. Thanks a lot 🙏
