First hatch 🥰
Our take
🥰 Exciting news from our little corner of the chicken world! Since last fall, our feathered friends have been laying like crazy, inspiring us to incubate some eggs. Out of eight, we successfully hatched six adorable chickies, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Check out our handsome rooster with his lovely ladies and their precious babies. We’ve got a delightful mix of colors—two all yellow, one with cute chipmunk stripes, two greyish, and one fabulously multi-colored! They’re growing strong and healthy, just like their parents!

| My babies have been LAYING like crazy since they started early last fall. So we decided to incubate some. Out of 8 we had 6 successful chickies and were super excited! I just wanted to share with people who love chickens as much as we do 🥰🥰🥰 first pics are our beautiful handsome man and his ladies, then their sweet sweet babies ❤️ not sure how we got so many different colored babies but super excited to hatch more! Had 2 all yellow, 1 yellow with brown chipmunk lines down the back, 2 greyish, and 1 multi-colored all over (yellow, goldfish, brown, black, like way multi-colored) they're growing quick and super strong and healthy like their parents ❤️🥰 [link] [comments] |

- First time hatching! We’ve had backyard chickens for about 9 years, but this was our first time hatching chicks! It was such a fun experience for me and my girls. We were lucky that two of them decided to hatch while my daughters were home and not in bed, so they got to watch the process. So so fun. We started with 6 eggs, and have 3 chicks. (1 wasn’t fertilized, 1 never hatched after 25 days, 1 died after hatching)— is that average, you think? We couldn’t be happier with Kiwi, Potato and Carlo 😂 submitted by /u/Solid_Cup7994 [link] [comments]
- 16 chicks and counting!I wanted to show off this fantastic momma and her new babies. We rescued her from a neglectful breeder about 5 years ago. The past few years she has been a constant broody girl. So last year we let her do her own thing and she became mom to a sweet rooster. Last week she outdid herself and hatched 16 chicks! submitted by /u/remarkably-done [link] [comments]
