Our take

My heart is clucking with joy! While I was off gallivanting, my wonderful neighbor sent me the most egg-citing news—my girls have officially started laying! 🩵🤍 I couldn’t be prouder of my feathered friends, who began this new chapter at around 6.5 to 7 months old. The big blue eggs are courtesy of my majestic frost legbar, while the adorable little white eggs come from my sweet red-brown neighborhood rescue. It’s amazing to witness their growth and the fruits of their labor! Now that I’m back home, I can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with them. Here’s to many more cluck-tastic days filled with fresh eggs and feathery adventures! 🐔🥚

I was away traveling when my neighbor sent me the photos of their first eggs and now that I’m back home I’m so proud of them!! They both started laying at about 6.5-7 months old. Blue eggs are from my big frost legbar the little white eggs are from my red brown neighborhood rescue 🤎
