URGENT chicks in school class potential illness

so I’m a teen and at my school we have a class where we raise chicks it’s a good class and they are well cared for I will be adopting 3 chicks this Friday and need help one of the 3 chickens has cold feet and once had diarrhea (no blood just like broun not super runny but still diarrhea)i know this coud be a sine of a potential heath inssue and need advice this chick will go to someone in my family but I can,t quarantine them till Friday when I pick them up due to the fact our school only has one area for chickens I need advice urgently. Shoud i pick them up tomorrow instead I may be able to pick up just the one we have concerns about. Pls help me in just worried Becuse this chick had diarrhea yesterday and has been with other chicks contusly FYI this is my classmates chick there raising that will be adopted by my family. I’m so worried something coud be wrong, i will be buying eltrolites Becuse apprenly they’re good for chicks and cold feet coud be Becuse of lack of elrolites. sorry for the spelling.

- What to do for ill chickI recently picked up some chicks and two older but not full grown hens from a local neighbor. The two bigger ones were in a coop. When we went to look at them there was one laying on the ground very lethargic. He took it out and put it in another area and told me the others were probably not letting it eat or drink. I am new to chickens so it seemed like a reasonable thing. Within a few days one of the older hens had a goopy eye and was making a sound that sounded like a sneeze and was lethargic for a few days. She is doing better now. No goopy eye anymore and less sneezing. However now one of the little chicks has sunken eyes that are crusty and it is extremely lethargic. How do I know if this is bird flu or not? What can (if anything) can I do for the chick? - Help!!! Urgent!!This little baby partridge cochin arrived with two other ladies yesterday. Everything was fine yesterday. She still can walk around and drink water but she’s really slow. Vaccinated for mareks disease. Using nature serve unmedicated feed with probiotics + prebiotics. Also have one waterer with water and the other with electrolytes (strong animas first peep) No pasty butt, although I’ve been having to clean the three of them off yesterday and today as some was forming. - what do i do? whats wrong?i got my first 2 chickens roughly a week? ago. i was not prepared at all but it happened and im doing what i can. the bigger chicken with no white on her head hasnt laid an egg at all, i assumed it was normal and shes not a layer but now im not sure if shes egg bound. she has diarrhea but she has an entire change to her life, apparently the feed i was given was fermented and i feed it dry. she also has grass she started eating and ive given them a couple fruits and veggies. we also have a LOT of worms and im unsure if maybe they can be eating to much? other chicken is laying just fine, walking around digging and very curious. we are tight on money so if i can get advice thatll help from home i would really appreciate it. i felt around but honestly idk what im supposed to feel? her tail is down often as well, i think you can only post on video so i can add more in the comments (i think? idk much about reddit) its getting warmer, im in eastern oregon and temps have been 75 ish since getting her hut today its 64 with a high of 71. i really don’t know what background i can give, and honestly idk much about chickens just yet. im really nervous and im scared. submitted by /u/Funkymanzz [link] [comments]
- Sick chickenMy two year old Blondie has been acting sick today. She didn’t want to come off the roost this morning so after an hour we got her down and inspected her. No signs of injury, egg bound, vent looks good. Found her hiding in the bushes a few hours later so I brought her into quarantine and that’s when I noticed she sounded hoarse.
