How do I not buy more chickens lol

Our take

Are you grappling with the clucking desire to expand your flock beyond legal limits? You're not alone! Many of us dream of a chicken utopia, filled with colorful egg layers and quirky meat birds, but city living can put a damper on those feathered aspirations. With a limit of just six chickens, it’s all too easy to feel the urge to sneak in a few more. You’ve already welcomed two delightful girls—an olive egger and an Australorp—into your heart, and now the temptation for more breeds is overwhelming. Fear not! Let’s explore practical tips and playful strategies to help you embrace your chicken dreams without breaking any rules. After all, the joy of chicken-keeping can be found in quality, not quantity!

How am I supposed to fight the urge to not own hundreds of chickens?? I live within city limits so legally I cannot own more than 6 😭 my husband and I planned to do some meat birds and then just get more once we’ve processed them and do that on repeat. I decided I wanted at least two egg layers bc that would be nice and the rest we’ll just do meat birds. I just got two pretty girls from a friend, ones an olive egger and the other an Australorp (idk how to spell it) and now I want all the egg colors and all the different kinds of chickens 🤣🤣 ab to just sell my house and move to the country so I can live out my chicken lady dreams
