## Sun's Out, Feathers Out: Nami's Chick-tastic Parenting! Witness a truly cluck-tastic moment: Nami, our modern game hen, is teaching her little one the art of the perfect sunbath! This mama pulled off something amazing – hatching a single chick this time around, and she’s taking her maternal duties seriously. It’s heartwarming to see her dedication to this one precious feathered friend. Raising a chick is an egg-citing adventure, and we’re loving this peek into Nami’s world. If you’re curious about identifying young poultry, check out our recent article, "Hen or rooster? 18 weeks of age," for a helpful guide. It’s just another reminder of the joys (and occasional challenges!) of chicken life.

Some animations from my game in development.

Welcome back! It’s been a cluck-tastic whirlwind of feathers and pixels as we’ve been immersed in developing "The MachinEGG," our game centered around a delightfully chaotic chicken farm. We’re thrilled to finally share a peek at some of the in-game chicken animations – these feathered friends are bringing a whole new level of egg-citing energy to the project. Catching chickens is proving to be a game of fowl hide-and-seek, to say the least! A huge thank you to our community for helping us name our digital flock – you can revisit that fun naming thread here: [link to Reddit]. For a glimpse into the real-world joys (and occasional confusion!

I'm really looking forward to someone asking me about the names of the chickens in my game!

Get ready for a cluck-tastic update! After incorporating over 3,000 chicken names – a truly egg-citing feat – into our game, "The MachinEGG," we realized a slight oversight: our roosters needed names too! A huge thank you to everyone who contributed previously; revisiting those suggestions is a fowl task indeed. So, if you’d like to see your rooster name immortalized in the game, drop it in the comments – we don’t need many! "The MachinEGG" is launching on Google Play in just a few days, pre-register now for an ad-free experience. A more complete version is planned for Steam down the line.
