Best luggage scales for travel weight control 2026

I’ve been looking for a reliable portable luggage scale to avoid overweight baggage fees when traveling.

I’ve seen handheld digital ones and hook-style hanging scales, and also some compact travel versions, but reviews are kinda mixed. Some people say they are accurate while others mention the readings can change depending on how you hold the bag or lift it.

For those who actually travel a lot, what would you recommend for 2026? Are the cheaper ones good enough for regular use or do you really notice a difference with more expensive ones in terms of accuracy and durability?
