Morrocco in May - tips for the coast and Agadir area

Hi!

On a bit of a whim, just booked flights to Agadir to travel alone for about 10 days, the idea being to mostly stay in villages and small towns, whether on the coast or inland, enjoy beautiful landscapes, have small walks, nice food, a pretty chill daily ''routine'' schedule in a relaxed environment. Ideally just enough options to eat out, buy groceries and walk around but a pretty hassle-free place, not destroyed by tourism either. I don't surf, but would like to swim.

In the meantime I realized i was pretty clueless about this area - I've been to the North of Morocco around Tetuan, Algiers etc before but never further down south.

I take it that Agadir isn't the one for me. How is Taghazout, and the rest of the coast, or should I go towards Essaouira?
Tafraoute looks amazing so that's one option for sure.

Thanks in advance :)
