We did it! Sky adopted her babies!

We did it! Sky, our glorious Golden Phoenix hen, has officially adopted her little flock of chicks! After a week of her being broody, I decided it was time to take action. A quick trip to Tractor Supply led to the perfect solution: three adorable chicks to replace her eggs. Just three days ago, we made the swap, and I’m thrilled to report that Sky took to her new babies right away! Her joy is palpable, and honestly, mine is too. This delightful turn of events saves us from the hassle of brooding and all the tricky introductions that usually come with it. It’s a cluck-tastic game-changer for our feathered family, and I can’t wait to watch them grow together!
