I used to joke that I got Buff Orpingtons because they seamlessly match my decor, blending perfectly with the cedar, tan, and natural colors of my outdoor space. But the real reason I welcomed these charming feathered friends into my life is their delightful personalities. They are genuinely friendly and bring a warm, inviting energy to my backyard. Every afternoon, right before sunset, they make their grand appearance near the deck, ready for "beer o'clock." It's become a cherished ritual that adds a dash of whimsy to my day. These lovely ladies not only enhance my decor but also enrich my life with their playful antics and companionship. Who knew chickens could be such fabulous decor and delightful friends?
