Our Silkie rooster started crowing in the last week or so and it’s hilarious. (Sound on!)

Our take

Our Silkie rooster has recently discovered his crowing abilities, and let me tell you, it’s an egg-citing spectacle! With the arrival of Spring, this little guy is ready to strut his stuff, but his attempts at impressing the hens are nothing short of hilarious. Picture him, all fluff and attitude, trying to assert his dominance with a crow that sounds more like a quirky call than a battle cry. And those awkward wing dances? Pure comedy gold! It's a riot watching him attempt to woo hens that tower over him, completely unfazed by his fowl play. So, if you’re in need of a good chuckle, sound on and enjoy the antics of our feathered friend—springtime shenanigans are in full swing!

Little guy is ready for Spring! Unfortunately, for him and his genes, the hens do not seem to be too impressed with his RFK crow and awkward wing dance. It’s hilarious watching him try to assert dominance and woo hens that are so much bigger than him.
