My little backyard flock. Also, is my rooster an Ameraucana?

Our take

Meet my little backyard flock! Recently, I welcomed a new member, Rex, my charming rooster. He struts around with a flair that has all the hens clucking in approval. After some sleuthing online, I couldn't help but wonder if Rex might be an Ameraucana, especially since he shares similarities with my lovely hen, Fluffy. His striking looks remind me of those Blue Wheaten roosters I found in my searches. But honestly, I’m not too concerned about labels; what matters most is that he’s absolutely gorgeous and boasts the perfect cockadoodledoo crow that makes my mornings brighter. Plus, he was a free addition to my feathered family, and the hens embraced him like an old friend—talk about a cluck-tastic welcome!

2nd pic is (obviously) my new rooster, Rex. He looks similar in ways to my Ameraucana hen Fluffy, (3rd picture). And I’ve googled Ameraucana roosters and he seems to match some of the pics, specifically Blue Wheaton roosters. I mean I don’t really care what he is, he’s gorgeous and has the perfect cockadoodledoo crow. Plus he was free, and he fit right into my flock, all the hens accepted him so fast.
