Luxury for my girls

Our take

In a delightful twist of fate, one savvy Facebook marketplace enthusiast found a gently used bay window—absolutely free! This lucky find didn’t just become a decoration; it’s now a cozy upgrade for her chicken coop. Strategically placed on the north wall, the window benefits from minimal sunlight due to the shade of a nearby tree, ensuring her feathered friends stay cool during those warm summer days. So far, the chickens are clucking with joy at their new view! However, a little DIY project is on the horizon, as she plans to add metal trimming on the inside bottom to prevent moisture damage. Stay tuned for more egg-citing updates from this innovative chicken mama!

Luxury for my girls

I’m a Facebook market wh*re and I got a gently used bay window FOR FREE! Of course I put it in our chicken coop on the north wall to prevent overheating (gets the least sunlight because it’s shadowed by a tree and it faces the farm house). So far they love it! I do think I need to put metal trimming on the inside bottom of the window to prevent moisture damage but that’s a project for later this summer.
