Meet our delightful low-rider hen, a curious character in our flock! At just about a year old, she lays charming blue-green eggs, but it's her legs that truly capture our attention. While her body matches the size of our other hens (except for our larger Colombian Wyandottes), her short legs give her a unique waddle reminiscent of a duck. We can’t help but wonder—could she be a dwarf, or is she simply a breed known for its shorter stature? Despite her pint-sized legs, she’s as healthy as can be and has stolen our hearts with her adorable antics. As we navigate the world of chickens, we’re excited to learn more about our feathered friend’s quirky characteristics!

Her body is the same size as our other hens (except our Colombian Wyandottes that are just larger bodied), but her legs are so much shorter than all the others. Could she be a dwarf?
