Hen acting weird since Friday.

Our take

Oh dear, it sounds like Misty is in a bit of a pickle! Since Friday, she’s been acting like a lone wolf—er, chicken—hanging out by herself and laying around while her feathered friends are off gallivanting. The poopy situation on her fluffy butt feathers isn’t doing her any favors either! You’ve already taken the initiative with a soothing Epsom salt bath and provided her with fresh water and food, which is egg-cellent. The mix of runny and solid poop could be a sign of something brewing, and given that she hasn’t laid her usual big eggs, egg binding might be a possibility. It’s always good to be cautious, so keep a close eye on her—our feathered friends can be quite the drama queens!

Misty has been acting weird since Friday, she has been hanging out alone and i find her just laying somewhere while the rest of the flock is somewhere completely different. She has some poopy on her fluffy butt feathers too. I’ve brought her in today gave her epson salt bath (about 20 min). You can see the poop from when i first brought her in. Her most recent poop in on the lay pad and was kinda runny but had solid in it you can see. I’ve given her fresh water with hydro hen and fresh food with 1 crushed tums tablet in it and crushed egg shells. She has eaten a bit and drank a bit since I’ve brought her in.. i think she lays really big eggs and i haven’t gotten any in a while. Do you think she’s egg bound or something else?
