Eggs Bartering?

Our take

Eggs bartering—what a cluck-tastic concept! It seems many of us find ourselves with a surplus of those precious eggs from our feathered friends. Have you ever considered sharing your bounty with neighbors or friends? One generous soul, u/PointPartisan, has been gifting excess eggs to a buddy, who happily passes them along to his girlfriend and her kiddos. As a delightful surprise, they reciprocated with a quart of single barrel whiskey, a sweet thank-you gesture! Additionally, selling eggs to neighbors is a great way to make a little extra cash; PointPartisan sells a dozen for just 5 CDN. With almost 70 eggs still chilling in the fridge, it’s clear that sharing the egg-citement can lead to fun exchanges and community bonding.

Do any of you sell or give your excess eggs to neighbours / friends? Do you sell or trade anything? I have been giving some extra eggs to my buddy who mostly passes them along to his gf and her kiddos for the last year and half. Never wanted anything for them, happy to see them used. Today he showed up with a quart of nice single barrel whiskey saying the gf wanted to say thanks for the eggs! Also have sold some to a neighbour for 5 CDN a dozen, he asked if we'd sell some. Also give some to my parents who live nearby. Still have almost 70 eggs in the fridge.
