What is the colour of this chick?

Our take

Welcome to the colorful world of chick hatching! Recently, I welcomed eight adorable chicks into my life, with a delightful mix of six black, one brown, and one blue. The father is a striking silver penciled, while the moms aren't black, adding a dash of mystery to their lineage. Some of these little fluff balls are already starting to change color, which has me scratching my head. Is that chick black, brown, or maybe a charming blend of both? I promise it’s not a fried mishap, despite the slightly messy setting! Plus, they’re already mastering the art of escape, happily exploring their spacious enclosure. Join me in unraveling this colorful conundrum—let's figure out what color that chick really is!

What is the colour of this chick?

Hello, I hatched 8 chicks last week. Six were black, one was brown, one was blue. The father is silver penciled, the moms aren’t black. Anyway, I believe some of the chicks started changing colour. Is this baby black or brown? Or maybe brown and black penciled? I know, it is in a dirty frying pan, but I swear I didn’t fry it! There’s also a picture of them all together. And a picture of the brown chick. It should be noted that they have no problem getting out of this small box, and have a nice bigger enclosure.
