Meet my newest feathered friends from Tractor Supply, the Sapphire Sky pullets! I bought a delightful batch of nine, but surprise—five of them turned out to be roosters! It seems my keen eye for chicken breeds was a bit off, as I suspect they’re all Barred Rocks. Lesson learned, right? You’d think I’d know better than to trust the random bin at the store, but the excitement of picking out pullets can make anyone a little clucky!
