Today was a cluck-tastic day filled with chick checks! While I was giving my newly hatched chicks a health inspection—looking for any signs of cross beak or funny leg behavior—one little fluffball decided to get extra cozy. As I gently cradled it to check for any concerns, this adorable chick drifted off to dreamland! But the moment I set it down, it woke up with a huff, clearly offended by the sudden change in its snuggly situation.
