Cleaning products
Our take
Congratulations on your cluck-tastic journey into chick ownership! With your adorable 3-4 week-old chicks thriving indoors, it’s crucial to keep their space clean and safe. When it comes to cleaning products, you’ll want to choose options that are chicken-friendly and effective. Look for non-toxic, biodegradable cleaners that avoid harsh chemicals, as these can be harmful to your feathered friends. Vinegar and baking soda are fantastic natural alternatives that can help eliminate odors and disinfect surfaces without posing a risk. Always rinse areas thoroughly after cleaning to ensure no residue remains, and avoid scented products that might overwhelm their sensitive senses. Happy cleaning, and may your little flock continue to thrive in their cozy, sparkling home!
We have around 11 chicks and are 1st time owners. They're about 3-4 weeks old now and are doing well. They're kept inside. We haven't done any deep cleaning in the room they're in since we got them but we have to mop and wipe stuff down soon. What cleaning products are safe for chickens?
