My chickens are not eating chicken feed

Our take

Hey there, fellow chicken enthusiasts! Welcome to the quirky world of poultry parenting! It sounds like you're navigating the sometimes clucky waters of chicken feeding. Your feathered friends are certainly expressing their preferences—cracked corn is like chicken candy, and they might be ignoring the nutritious chicken feed beneath. Fear not! It’s a common dilemma for new owners. Mixing cracked corn with chicken feed is a great start, but you might want to try gradually reducing the amount of corn to encourage them to explore that wholesome feed. Consider offering the feed in a separate feeder or even experimenting with different brands. Your chickens will get the hang of it eventually! Let’s keep those discussions feathered and informative. Good luck!

Hello everyone, new owner here! One friend gave me some chickens, and they said that we should feed them cracked corn. I thought that it might not be enough, and after I read some articles and talked to the guy at the pet store, I got some chicken feed. I mixed it with the cracked corn, but the chickens are eating the corn and ignoring the chicken feed at the bottom of the feeder. What should I do? Thanks in advance!
