Now, let’s dive into the colorful world of Brahma chicks and uncover the mysteries of their hues!

| Are these two a black and a partridge or gold? They were hatched out of a mixed color Brahma flock. Ps. Excuse the messy bedding and water, I have a duckling that practically lives in the water in with them while I hatch other ducklings to give her companionship 🥲 [link] [comments] |

- First 2 hatches of my breeding project! These two literally hatched together at the same time lol. These two are a cross between my Dark Brahma hen and Green-legged Hatch Game Fowl rooster. I’m calling them “Game Brahmas”. They look kind of like their mom when she was a chick but also….not. And I know you can’t see but they have feathered feet/ legs! My roo also has a muff and it looks like one of them might! submitted by /u/Safe_Letterhead543 [link] [comments]
- What is the colour of this chick?Hello, I hatched 8 chicks last week. Six were black, one was brown, one was blue. The father is silver penciled, the moms aren’t black. Anyway, I believe some of the chicks started changing colour. Is this baby black or brown? Or maybe brown and black penciled? I know, it is in a dirty frying pan, but I swear I didn’t fry it! There’s also a picture of them all together. And a picture of the brown chick. It should be noted that they have no problem getting out of this small box, and have a nice bigger enclosure. submitted by /u/EcstaticZebra7937 [link] [comments]
- Pekin Bantams…. What colour?I acquired these two Pekin hens (and 3 Wyandotte GL hens and 1 partridge lace (?) rooster) for free on Facebook! Woohoo! now I cannot find a similar colour for the Pekins on Google… is buff partridge a colour…? Hoping someone could shed some light on what I would call the colour of my Pekins! Is it a mix? I’m a newbie & have only had brown shavers and Hy-Lines for egg production. New to heritage breeds and all these pretty colours 😍 I will be adding a Pekin rooster as soon as I build a seperate coop for the Pekins. I’d looove to have some advice on what colour Pekin roo I should get, I’m wanting to increase my flock but also have family members begging me to hatch them some chicks! Would love and appreciate any information/advice people could give me based on these pics, do they look like crossbreds or do they have odd colouring or any ‘defects’ per say, not that I would be attempting to show them but I’m so curious 😆😊 Thank you 💗💗💗🐓🐓 submitted by /u/Adept_Count3578 [link] [comments]
