- What’s wrong with my roosters leg 😢For context, he started limping about a year ago and slowly, I noticed his leg got swollen. He would limp a bit, but it was manageable. Eventually, it started swelling up, even thicker to the point you see now and he is at the point he doesn’t even use it at all. I thought maybe it was broken and had kept him isolated in a place in the coop where he could not jump up on anything for a month or so, but that doesn’t seem to help. I’ve tried reaching out to many different organizations near me and nobody can help me. submitted by /u/CYouChai [link] [comments]
- What is wrong with my chicken?Any ideas? Hard to get a video. She’s standing so weird. She was limping a couple days ago but I didn’t think much about it. No bubble foot or mites. She’s happy and lets me hold her and manipulate her legs/wings with no issues… she’s eating and drinking and has consistently been laying-even today. - Injured chickenHey guys, I have a chicken that has been injured for about 3 days now. Im new to all this so idk what im doing. At first I thought she was eggbound bc she wasn’t moving around at all. A day later she finally got up and started moving around and noticed she can’t put pressure on her left foot. I picked her up and moved her leg around it wasn’t floppy at all so I don’t think it’s broken. Could it be her foot? She’s eating and drinking, responsive.
